This crossing goes into the deepest arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi, a landscape of beautiful mountains and almost jungle forests.
It is a very demanding crossing in which we row the Arm Blest in all its extension until the homonymous Bay to know the Waterfall of the pitchers.

  • Day 2: Kayaking time: 3 hrs. Distance to cover: 13km/8ml.
  • Day 3: Kayaking time: 6 hrs. Distance to cover: 23km/15ml.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Mourning departure from your hotel, 45min. transfer to Bahía López. Before jumping on the kayaks we do an introduction of basic techniques and safety procedures on coastal kayaking. Then we start the expedition leaving from the protected waters of the bay and heading to Blest Sound of Lake Nahuel Huapi. After 2 hours of kayaking we stop for lunch. Then, if lake conditions are appropriate we cross the lake to approach to Blest Waterfall before finishing our paddling day. We set up our camp in a quite beach. Time to relax before dinner. Night at FREE CAMPSITE.

Day 2 Breakfast and preparation of the kayaks to continue to our next destination at Puerto Blest. We kayak this part of the lake surrounded by impressive views of the mountains covered by native forest. Lunch upon arrival. During the afternoon we have time to explore the area of Puerto Blest walking to Los Cantaros waterfall and Lake Frías. Night at Hostería Puerto Blest.

Day 3 Breakfast and preparation of the kayaks for the longest kayaking day. We have to kayak all along the Blest Sound of the lake. Stop for lunch and arrival in Bahía Lopez in the afternoon. Transfer back to your Hotel.
