This expedition goes to the less visited and most isolated part of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The beautiful waterfalls from Mt. Capilla are the introduction to the rainforest that you will see at the end of the lake. With blue sky is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Tronador.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Mourning departure from your hotel, 45min. transfer to Bahía López. Before jumping on the kayaks we do an introduction of basic techniques and safety procedures on coastal kayaking. Then we start the expedition leaving from the protected waters of the bay and after 30 minutes of kayaking we enter in the Tristeza branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Depending on the lake conditions, we will cross the branch and follow the northern coast to approach to amazing waterfalls. After the lunch stop, we will head to the end of the lake to set-up the camping and time at leisure to explore. Night at FREE CAMPSITE.

Includes: lunch – afternoon tea – dinner
Day 2 – After breakfast we hike through the forest to visit the waterfalls of Frey River. Back to the camp we jump on the kayaks and start the return along the southern coast of Tristeza branch of the lake. Stop for lunch and arrival at Bahía Lopez on the afternoon. Transfer back to your Hotel.
